Landing Page
The Landing Page gives you a powerful starting point for managing rotation requests, exploring site availabilities, and tracking placements.
The Landing Page is shown Immediately after logging in to Exxat One for Schools. You can also click on the icon from the left hand menu. You can always expand the menu by clicking on the
.
Please note: Every data point on the dashboard is clickable — click a number, chart segment, or card to open the corresponding Requests, and Schedules screen with the appropriate filters already applied.
Network Overview
At the top of the page, you’ll see a rotating carousel highlighting the scale, growth, and impact of the Exxat One network.
- Scale & Reach: Displays the size of the network, including the total number of sites, facilities, slots, and supported disciplines.
- Growth Momentum: Shows how the ecosystem is expanding—new sites, slots, and requests approved over the last 6 months.
- Credibility & Trust: Highlights how many students and schools are actively using the system, along with placements completed via Exxat.
Explore Availabilities
Use the Seach and Filter bar on the top to find Availabilities.
You can narrow your search by:
- Where: This is preset to close to your school's address
- Site: This defaults to all sites, click on it to expand the list and select sites to narrow your search.
- Date Range: Click in the box to change the placement dates you want to look for availabilities for.

Discipline and Specialties: this defaults to the disciplines with all the associated specialties for your program. Click in the box to use the to edit the selections.

Click the blue Seach button to be taken to the Search and Explore page to see your results Please see Exploring and Applying for Availability for more information.
Saved Availabilities
Availabilities you have marked as Saved in previous searches can be viewed by clicking on My Bookmarks. To see how to bookmark an availability please see Exploring and Applying for Availability
Recommended Availabilities
Availabilities reccomended for you program based on school and student addresses. It uses the data from Exxat Prism or your school's address. The recommendations you see will depend on how much information your school has on Exxat Prism:
- Rotation Details Shared:site suggestions linked directly to your upcoming rotation timelines.
- Student Information Shared: You’ll see opportunities tailored to individual students who still need placements.
- Placements and History Shared:The system will give you the most personalized and accurate recommendations.
For schools not currently using Prism you will see:
- Basic Information Only: You’ll see a simple card with suggested sites.
When detailed recommendations are available, they appear in a table. Each row shows:
- Rotation Dates & Duration – The timeframe for the opportunity.
- Course(s) – The courses associated with the rotation.
- Capacity Details – How many students are already placed vs. how many are still open.

Action Options – View full recommended list of availabilities by rotation and student-specific matches.
Please follow the below steps to view the recommended availabilities for your upcoming rotations:

Click on View Recommendations to navigate to a new page to view the recommended list of availabilities for the rotation.

There are two filters: Year and Rotation. Users can choose the appropriate filters.
- The view first includes details of the rotation: name, year, duration (in weeks), rotation start date, rotation end date, total registered students, placed and unplaced students.
- The availabilities are listed in a card view. Click on the card to view the availability details and request slots.
- You can quick access “My Bookmarks” and “Explore All on Maps” in this page as well.
If you are looking to place a particular student, then click on “See Student-Specific Matches” in the rotation summary table or you can also click on “By Student” in the all recommendations list view of availabilities.
- The view first includes details of the rotation: name, year, duration (in weeks), rotation start date, rotation end date, total registered students, placed and unplaced students.
- Click on “Select Course” dropdown and select a course.
- The list of students registered to the course will load. Click on “Select Student” dropdown and select a student.
- The student details will be fetched from Exxat Prism which will include: Name of the student, Placement status, Student email address, student contact number, Cohort the student belongs to, and the Student Group.
- The availabilities are listed in a card view. Click on the card to view the availability details and request slots.
- You can quick access “My Bookmarks” and “Explore All on Maps” in this page as well.
Availability Landscape (Heatmap)
At the bottom of the page, you’ll find a U.S. heatmap that visualizes availability distribution across states.
- States are shaded from Low to Very High availability density.
- The range dynamically adjusts based on the total number of availabilities in the network.
- Use this map to quickly identify geographic regions with the strongest placement opportunities.
Get Help and See Notifications
There are various ways to get help from in Exxat One, these are shown at the top for every screen.
- Click on the pink question mark to see Product Education, Product Updates, or Support Service.
- Click on Product Education to see help documents.
- Click on Product Updates to see notes about current and past releases.
- Click on Support Service to begin a new help request or view your previous ones.
- Click on the headset to start a live chat available 7:30am-4:30pm EST.
- Click on the bullhorn to see Release notes.
- Click on the bell to see your notifications.
- Click on the Ask Leo to start a chat with Leo the virtual assistant.
