Key updates include a revamped slot request experience, standardised program type selection, and smarter filtering and notification controls. Together, these enhancements reduce confusion, improve data consistency, and help schools take faster, more informed actions across the placement lifecycle.

Enhanced Location Hierarchy in Report Exports
Discipline-Based Program Type Standardisation
Schools now experience a more guided and structured selection of Program Types during requests and tracking, ensuring only relevant options are chosen based on the selected discipline(s).
- Program Types now dynamically update based on selected Discipline(s), showing only applicable options for each discipline
- Introduction of a new standardized set of Program Types: Associate, Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, Certificate, Pre-Licensure, Post-Licensure, Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician
- These program types are now accurately mapped to each discipline, ensuring only valid selections are available
- Program Type is now a mandatory field in slot requests and related workflows
- Added as a column and filter in request and schedule tracking views
- Display updated to “Program Type (Discipline)” format for better clarity
- Existing data is standardised for consistency
This ensures accurate program selection, improves request quality, and enhances overall data consistency across workflows.
Revamped Slot Request Experience
Creating slot requests is now more structured and intuitive, eliminating confusion between slots and student details.
- Clear co-relation between slots and students, each requested slot corresponds to one student, and you can add up to the number of slots requested
- Ability to add multiple students at once (for Prism-enabled schools), with student email visibility for easier identification
- Validation to prevent adding more students than the requested slots
- Improved form structure with logical field ordering and better clarity
- In approved requests, view site-approved details in a read-only format, with clear indicators where approved details differ from your original request
- In “Review in Progress” status, you can now revoke requests directly
- Enhanced lifecycle states with clear, meaningful views instead of disabled fields
This update simplifies request creation, reduces errors, and gives schools better clarity and control throughout the request lifecycle.
Specialisation-Based Filtering in Explore & Apply
Finding relevant opportunities is now more focused and intuitive, with filtering tailored to your discipline.
- Updated filter from “Discipline & Specialisation” to “Specialisations” for a simpler experience
- Only relevant specialisations mapped to your discipline(s) are shown
- Eliminates unrelated disciplines and specialisations from the filter
- All applicable specialisations are selected by default for quick discovery
- Search now works within your relevant specialisations only
- Selection controls (Select All / Clear) apply only to applicable options
- The selection count reflects the number of specialisations selected
This ensures you see only meaningful opportunities, making it faster and easier to find the right placements.
Configurable Digest Notifications for Schools
To give schools better control over communication, digest emails introduced in the previous release can now be configured directly within the platform.
- Schools can enable or disable digest emails from the Notification Configuration settings
- A new “Digest Notifications” category is introduced for easier management
- Supports:
- Weekly Onboarding & Compliance Status Digest
- Weekly Student Assignment & Confirmation Digest
- As these are email-only digests, in-app notification options are disabled
This allows schools to tailor notifications based on their preferences, reducing noise while staying informed on critical updates.
Hover Labels for Collapsed Navigation
Collapsed navigation now includes hover-based labels, making it easier for school users to identify menu items without expanding the menu.
- Hovering over icons displays menu labels as tooltips
- Reduces dependency on expanding the navigation panel
- Clean behaviour with tooltips only in collapsed view
This enhances usability and speeds up navigation across school workflows.
Enhanced Location Hierarchy in Report Exports
To improve clarity and usability of location data in reports, exported files now provide a more structured view of location hierarchy.
- Reports now include four location-related columns in exports:
- Full location (with hierarchy)
- Level 1 (Parent location)
- Level 2 (Department)
- Level 3 (Unit)
- Enables easier filtering, sorting, and analysis of location data in Excel
This enhancement makes it simpler to understand and work with hierarchical location data outside the platform.
