Finding Clinical Availabilities

Overview

The Explore & Apply for Availability experience helps schools discover, evaluate, and request clinical placement opportunities shared by sites across Exxat One.

Using Explore & Apply, you can:

• Search and filter opportunities
• Explore availabilities using Map View or List View
• Search near your school or by zip code
• Bookmark opportunities for later review
• Review availability details and requirements
• View previous request activity
• Submit slot requests to sites

Getting Started

You can access Explore & Apply directly from the Exxat One homepage by searching for opportunities using:

• Site
• Date Range
• Discipline and Specialisation

You can also select Explore All from the homepage map to browse all available opportunities.

After performing a search, you will be redirected to the Explore & Apply page with the selected search criteria applied.

Searching and Filtering Opportunities

Use the search bar to find opportunities by availability name, availability ID, location, or address.

Filters help narrow results based on criteria such as:

• Discipline and Specialisation
• Site
• State
• Program Type
• Experience Type
• Availability Dates
• Due Date
• Published Date

You can also use Nearby Search to find opportunities near your school or within a selected zip code.

These tools help you quickly identify opportunities that match your program and placement requirements.

Exploring Opportunities

Availabilities can be viewed in either Map View or List View.

Map View

Map View allows you to visually explore opportunities across different locations. You can zoom into regions, explore opportunity clusters, and select map pins to view availability summaries and access additional details.

List View

List View presents opportunities in a structured list, making it easier to compare opportunities, review details, bookmark availabilities, and navigate larger result sets.

Availability cards provide a quick summary of each opportunity, including site information, date range, location, disciplines, specialisations, program type, availability type, and application status.

Reviewing Availability Details

Selecting an opportunity opens the Availability Details page, where you can review information such as:

• Availability duration and shift details
• Disciplines and specialisations
• Location information
• Program requirements
• Student eligibility requirements
• Onboarding requirements
• Site instructions and additional notes

The Availability Details page also provides visibility into current and previous request activity, including approved, pending, declined, and in-review requests.

Reviewing these details helps ensure the opportunity aligns with your placement requirements before submitting a request.

Bookmarking Opportunities

If you're not ready to submit a request, you can bookmark opportunities and return to them later. Bookmarking is useful when evaluating multiple placement options or comparing opportunities before making a decision.
