Overview
Once students are assigned and confirmed to schedules, schools can monitor and manage onboarding progress directly from the Schedules and Onboarding page.
The onboarding experience provides visibility into student, clinical instructor, and school-level requirements, helping ensure all required documentation is completed before a placement begins.
Getting Started
From the Schedules and Onboarding page, review the Onboarding Status column to monitor student progress.
Common onboarding statuses include:
- Not Applicable
- Not Started
- Some Action Needed
- Compliant
Select the onboarding status or view icon to open the onboarding dashboard and review requirement details.

The onboarding dashboard displays all assigned requirements, along with their due dates, statuses, and submission details.
Requirement statuses may include:

- Pending Review
- Approved
- Not Approved
- Expiring
- Expired
Selecting a requirement allows you to review:
- Requirement guidelines
- Submitted forms and documents
- Reviewer comments
- Approval history
- Audit history
This helps schools quickly identify missing information or requirements that still need attention.
Monitoring Student, Instructor, and School Requirements
For group schedules, schools can monitor onboarding progress for:
- Students
- Clinical Instructors
- School-level requirements
School requirements can apply to both Individual and Group schedules and should be completed to maintain schedule compliance.
This provides a centralized view of onboarding progress across all participants involved in the placement.
Communicating and Reviewing Progress
Schools can communicate directly with students, sites, and clinical instructors from within the onboarding experience.
Reviewer comments, requirement history, and audit records provide additional visibility into the compliance process and help schools understand what actions may still be required.
