Overview
Once you've identified a clinical opportunity, you can submit a slot request directly to the site through Exxat One. The request process allows you to provide placement details, request one or more slots, include student and instructor information, and share additional notes with the site.
Getting Started
To submit a request:
- Open the availability.
- Review the opportunity details.
- Select Request Slots.
This opens the request panel, where you can complete and submit your request.
Completing Your Request
Provide the information required for the placement, including:
- Discipline and Specialisation
- Program Type
- Graduation Date
- Rotation and Course Details
- Requested Start and End Dates
- Number of Requested Slots
Some opportunities may require additional information such as semester details, number of hours, shift preferences, or preceptor information.
The requested dates should align with the site's availability whenever possible.
Adding Students and Instructors
You can choose to include student information with your request.
Depending on your institution's setup, students can be selected from Prism or added manually. For group availabilities, Clinical Instructor information can also be included.
Providing student and instructor details helps sites review requests more efficiently and supports the placement process.
Contacting the Site
Use the Contact Site section to include additional notes, scheduling information, or special instructions with your request.
Your message will be sent to the site along with the slot request.
Submitting the Request
Once all required information has been completed, submit the request using one of the following options:
- Request Now – Submit the request for review.
- Request and Send Message – Submit the request along with a message to the site.
After submission, the request is sent to the site for review.
What Happens Next?
After a request is submitted, the site reviews the request and updates its status as it progresses through the review process. You can monitor all submitted requests from the Requests page.
