Overview
The Requests page provides a centralised view of all slot requests submitted by your school. From here, you can monitor request progress, review request details, communicate with sites, and take action on requests throughout the placement process.
Using the Requests page, you can:
- Track submitted requests and their statuses
- Search and filter requests
- Edit pending requests
- Revoke requests awaiting review
- Review approved requests
- Communicate with sites
- Customize and export request data
Getting Started
To access the Requests page, select Requests from the left navigation menu.
The page displays all submitted requests in a grid view, along with important request details such as site information, requested slots, request dates, and current status.
Monitoring Request Status
Each request displays a status that indicates its current stage in the review process.
Common statuses include:
- Approved
- Request Pending
- Review in Progress
- Declined
- Cancelled
Depending on the status, you may be able to edit the request, review request details, or communicate directly with the site.
Monitoring request statuses helps schools quickly identify requests that require attention or follow-up.
Searching and Filtering Requests
Use the search bar and filters to quickly locate specific requests.
You can search and filter requests by:
- Site
- Discipline
- Program
- Status
- Experience Type
- Requested Dates
- Requested By
- Request Age
Filters help narrow results and make it easier to manage large numbers of requests across programs and sites.
Managing Requests
Schools can take action on requests directly from the grid.
Edit Requests
Requests in Request Pending status can be updated when changes are needed. Schools can review and modify request information before resubmitting updates.
Revoke Requests
Requests that are still under review can be revoked if they are no longer needed.
Review Approved Requests
Approved requests can be opened in preview mode to review placement details, assigned slots, student information, and request history.
Communicating with Sites
Schools can communicate directly with sites throughout the request process.
Messages can be sent:
- From the Requests grid
- From within the request details
This allows schools and sites to discuss request updates, placement details, and other related information without leaving Exxat One.
Customizing and Exporting Data
The Requests grid can be customised to fit your reporting and workflow needs.
You can:
- Show or hide columns
- Reorder columns
- Freeze columns
- Sort request data
- Resize columns
- Export request information
Exported data can be used for reporting, internal tracking, and offline review.
