Student Journey on Exxat One

Overview

Exxat One provides students with a complete placement, onboarding, and career management experience. From exploring placement opportunities and submitting preferences to completing onboarding requirements and applying for jobs, students can manage their entire journey from a single platform.

Getting Started

Students begin by setting up their profile using one of the following methods:

• Import profile information from Exxat Prism
• Upload a resume
• Enter information manually

Maintaining a complete and up-to-date profile helps improve placement experiences, onboarding workflows, and job recommendations.

Exploring Placement Opportunities

If your school uses Availability-Based Wishlists, you can review available opportunities and submit your placement preferences directly in Exxat One.

Students can:

• Explore opportunities using Map View or List View
• Search and filter availabilities
• Select and rank preferences
• Submit wishlists for school review

Schools use these preferences when planning and requesting placements.

Managing Schedules and Placements

Once placements have been assigned, they become available in My Schedules.

Schedules are organised into:

• Upcoming
• In Progress
• Completed

Students can review placement details, monitor schedule updates, and access onboarding activities associated with each schedule.

If schedule payments are required, they can also be completed directly from the schedule.

Completing Onboarding Requirements

Students can track and complete onboarding requirements directly from their schedules.

Depending on the placement, onboarding activities may include:

• Document uploads
• Certifications
• Health requirements
• Site-specific forms
• Compliance documentation

Requirement statuses help students monitor progress throughout the onboarding process.

Common statuses include:

• Get Started
• In Progress
• Pending Review
• Approved
• Not Approved
• Expired

Students can also review feedback from reviewers and update requirements when needed.

Using the Document Library

The Document Library provides a centralized location for managing uploaded documents.

Students can:

• Reuse previously uploaded documents
• Access files from Exxat One and Exxat Prism
• Preview and download documents
• Upload new files for onboarding requirements

Using the Document Library reduces the need to upload the same document multiple times across placements.

Staying Connected

Exxat One includes built-in notifications and messaging to help students stay informed throughout their placement journey.

Students receive notifications for:

• Schedule updates
• Onboarding reviews
• Requirement approvals or rejections
• Messages from schools and sites

The messaging feature allows direct communication with schools and clinical sites regarding schedules and onboarding activities.

Exploring Career Opportunities

Beyond placements, students can use the Jobs experience to discover and apply for career opportunities.

Students can:

• Explore recommended jobs
• Search opportunities by role or location
• Review job details and employer information
• Submit applications
• Track application progress through My Jobs

A complete profile helps improve job recommendations and match accuracy.
