What's New in This Release

This release introduces enhancements to notification management, naming consistency, and clinical instructor management in Exxat One for Schools. School Admins can configure notification preferences at the school level, customize selected outgoing email templates, and set the sender display name for school communications. Names now follow a consistent Last Name, First Name format across applicable screens. Schools can also remove clinical instructors from group schedules, with automatic group onboarding status recalculation and activity tracking.

Notification Configuration Enhancements

We’ve enhanced notification management in Exxat One to give School Admins greater control over notification preferences and email communications.

• School-Level Notification Configuration: School Admins can configure In-App and Email notification preferences by notification category and event for School Admins, Students, and applicable Clinical Instructors, and lock preferences to prevent individual changes by users.
• Applicable School users can continue to manage their individual notification preferences for available notification categories and events through “My Notifications”.
• Email Template Editing: Customize templates for selected outgoing notification emails sent from the School to other stakeholders. Templates support editable text, merge fields, hyperlinks, and attachments. Additional notification events will be made available for editing in future releases.

• Email Setup: Configure the sender display name for outgoing notification emails so recipients can identify communications from your School.

   

Naming Format Enhancement

• Names across applicable School-side screens now follow a consistent [Last Name, First Name] format.
• This update applies to students, preceptors, clinical instructors, and requesters across screens for slot requests, wishlists, schedules, onboarding and reports.

Clinical Instructor Removal

• Schools can now remove a Clinical Instructor (CI) from a group schedule using the new remove icon in the Group Details panel. This action requires confirmation and is unavailable for cancelled schedules or schedules whose end date has passed.
• The Group Onboarding Status is recalculated based on the remaining group members, without changing individual student onboarding statuses or the schedule status.
